Jessa Duggar Posts 100 New Wedding Photos After Amy Ties the Knot

Publish date: 2024-07-01

A sea of snaps from the Seewalds! Three days after Amy Duggar tied the knot to Dillon King, the bride’s cousin Jessa Duggar celebrated by…. posting a whopping 100 never-before-seen photos from her own November 2014 wedding to Ben Seewald on Tuesday, Sept. 8, including a pic of their first kiss which was exchanged in private.

“We all had such a wonderful time at Amy’s wedding,” the Duggar family wrote on their official Facebook page, days after Amy and Dillon got married in an intimate ceremony this past Saturday, Sept. 5. “All of this excitement has caused Jessa to pull out her pictures from her wedding and post 100 of them on her website. Check out her album here which includes many never before seen pictures.”

The link features a slideshow of intimate photos from Jessa’s huge wedding held at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Ark., last November. Images include Jessa making the trek down the aisle with her dad, Jim Bob Duggar, before 1,000 congregation members, family, and friends there to witness the nuptials.

Other snapshots hand-selected by Jessa feature the lovebirds standing at the altar as they exchange vows and rings. The slideshow also includes one photo of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar praying with the bride and groom in a group huddle.

Also included in the slideshow are Jessa’s many siblings, including her bridesmaids and sisters Jill Duggar and Jinger. One sibling, however, was noticeably missing from the mix: Last week, Jessa publicly turned her back on her beleaguered brother, Josh Duggar, who is currently in a long-term treatment facility in the wake of his cheating scandal.

In the final few slides from the album, Jessa shared one standout photo. As previously reported, she and Ben opted out of exchanging a kiss at the altar, and shared one in private — which was captured by their wedding photographer.

Jessa, 22, and her husband got engaged in August 2014 after 11 months of dating, and wed on Nov. 1, 2014. The two announced they were expecting their first child in April, and have been sharing weekly updates of her pregnancy.

In a recent interview with Us Weekly, Duggar expressed her desire to have a big family — but not all biological. “Well, I’m not giving birth to that many, but we want to adopt,” the reality star told Us.
