Kylie Jenner Used to Perform Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" as a Kid
- In Kylie Jenner's new Harper's BAZAAR cover story, big sister Kendall reveals that the beauty mogul "loved attention" as a kid.
- Kylie was "obsessed" with Shakira's song "Hips Don't Lie" and would "put on a belly dancer outfit and come back and perform for everyone," Kendall said.
- The 22-year-old also freaked out over the singer's Super Bowl performance on Sunday.
Long before Kylie Jenner was a billionaire, she was dancing around the house and fangirling over Shakira like the rest of us.
“Kylie loved attention,” Kendall Jenner tells Harper's BAZAAR for her sister's March cover story. “She was obsessed with the Shakira song ‘Hips Don’t Lie,’ and she would go up and put on a belly dancer outfit and come back and perform for everyone. It was like, 'Hey! Everybody watch Kylie…again!'"
The Kylie Cosmetics founder relived Shakira mania on Sunday when the Colombian superstar and Jennifer Lopez performed at the Super Bowl halftime show. She even posted footage to her Instagram Story and showered the singer with praise.
Between the two Jenner siblings, Kylie is the more outgoing one. "She likes black; I like white," Kendall explains. "My room was white and silver and gold, and hers was black, really dark. Kylie had a zebra pattern, and I had leopard. We responded to each other, so we would have our own thing. But we have similarities too; we’re definitely sisters."
The beauty mogul agrees. "Kendall and I are very adventurous and athletic." Adventurous enough to revive those childhood performances of "Hips Don't Lie"? We sure hope so.
